ontos-Preis

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Gesellschaft für Analytische Philosophie e.V. stiftet der ontos verlag den Preis zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Analytischen Ontologie und Metaphysik, der auf dem 8. Kongress der GAP "Was dürfen wir glauben? Was sollen wir tun?" in der Eröffnungsveranstaltung am 17. September 2012 in Konstanz zum vierten Mal verliehen werden wird.

Der vom ontos verlag gestiftete Preis ist mit 2000 Euro dotiert und wird für eine herausragende Arbeit auf dem Feld der Analytischen Ontologie und Metaphysik verliehen. In Frage kommen Arbeiten von mindestens 120 Seiten Umfang (Sprache: Deutsch oder Englisch), die noch nicht publiziert wurden und deren Autorin bzw. Autor deutschsprachig oder in einem deutschsprachigen Land tätig ist. Die Arbeit wird anschließend in der Reihe "Philosophische Analyse / Philosophical Analysis" des ontos verlags veröffentlicht.

Vorschläge sind mit einer Begründung von maximal 1000 Wörtern, einem Curriculum Vitae der Kandidatin oder des Kandidaten und fünf Exemplaren der Arbeit bis zum 31.01.2012 an die GAP zu richten. Selbstvorschläge sind zulässig. Anschrift:

In collaboration with the Society for Analytical Philosophy (Gesellschaft für Analytische Philosophie e.V., GAP), the ontos verlag donates the award for furthering scientific research in the field of analytical ontology and metaphysics,

which is going to be awarded for the fourth time on the occasion of the 8th Congress of GAP, "What may we believe? What ought we to do?", 17th of September, 2012, in Constance.

This prize, donated by the ontos verlag, awards 2,000 Euros for outstanding achievements in the field of analytical ontology and metaphysics. Studies of at least 120 pages, which have not yet been published and are written in German or English by a German-language author or one who lives and works in a German-language country, are eligible for consideration. The award-winning study will be published in the book series "Philosophische Analyse / Philosophical Analysis" of ontos verlag.

Submission should include a letter detailing reasons for the nomination (no more than 1000 words), Curriculum Vitae of the candidate, and five copies of the work. Send submissions to:
